I foster for the ARL. Usually it's a decent experience. However, things aren't always going to be perfect with an non-profit organization. I know they're stressed and irritated with stupid people who should never own/come in contact with animals, but when it comes to volunteers I wish they were more friendly. Twice (including today) one of my foster kittens were put to sleep. I didn't feel like they wanted to try harder. But what do I know? In gonna keep the benefit of the doubt that they care even when it's tough for me
