I went to Espee's with my wife and two boys (age 9 and 2). We had a variety of food from the menu. Of course the boys had chicken nuggets and french fries. I tried them and they were seasoned all white meat and great tasting as well as the fries. A big portion. I read the other reviews and it seems like they made some changes. The temperature was perfect and even on the weekend, Espee was greeting customers. The salsa bar is great. My favorite was the mango salsa; excellent. Loved the tamales, beans and rice, but some items like the green chile posole and puffy tacos, you just can't get here in Vegas. Both were great. I never had a puffy taco and I was impressed. I also loved that you can get sweet tea and sopapillas which are also hard to find in other restaurants. The prices are very reasonable and I'll try to make it in for happy hour soon. We'll be back to try other items on the menu which seem appealing. Overall, we had a great experience. The restaurant was very clean and you can see some of the friendly employees cooking and making tamales in the kitchen. You defintely have to try this place. It will be one of your favs...
