I LOVE ice cream, and it saddens me when i have to rate an ice cream place low. But, my experience this evening at this particular location was less than 5 star. I have to be fair and honest.
They were having a 'rush' when we walked in. The line was almost out the door, there were several workers working quickly to get people through the line with their bowls or cones of ice cream heaven. It appeared as if the assistant manager was working the counter as well. I ordered the butter pecan and mixed it with caramel and peanuts. Can i say heavenly?! They have 3 sizes to choose from, like it, love it, or gotta have it.
Now this is where my issue was this evening. There are 4 little cafe tables in the place, and only 1 chair! When my husband asked about the chairs the lady(who i assume is the manager) said they must be around somewhere and sent a worker to figure out the chair situation. Meanwhile, we are standing against the wall enjoying our bowls of yumminess. Finally, the chair issue got resolved and we sat down and thanked the manager for fixing the problem.
Issue #2 cleanliness is lacking. The tables were dirty and sticky, and the floor needed to be swept. Did this take away from my enjoyment of the ice cream? Of course not, and we will be back to indulge at this location.
