I went in for my annual exam. No co-pay, right? Well, after the exam the nurse practitioner (who I like very much) asked me if I had any questions. I inquired about bio-identical hormones. I did testing and went back for the proper prescriptions for a compounding pharmacy. I was billed as co-pay for both visits. I called the billing dept. and a younger woman said that I was right, the first visit was an annual - no co-pay. She took off the charge and I paid the other with my credit card over the phone. A few weeks later they are billing me for the first visit for the $30 co-pay. I called again. Was told, "sorry, our mistake". Several hours later the same nasty woman called me on my cell, during a business lunch. She said that I did owe the $30. Two visits in one, she said. I said I would never go back there and she hung up on me. Going to my insurance company. Easier to pay the $30, but I just can't do it!
