It's hard to remember life prior to Stage AE opening on the North Shore. The long trek out to Burgettstown for shows and hating every minute of it. Bands skipping out on town without a suitable venue to play at.
Only comes American Eagle to save the day with their hybrid venue. Ever since, I've been to 5-6 shows every year both inside and out. It's really the venue that Pittsburgh was missing and I'm thankful to have it.
They have plenty of issues with unclear policies (that change from one show to the next), overfilling some outdoor shows, and the worst offense: Coors Light products. The staff can be awful at times too, but rarely does it have any impact on me.
Keep getting the bands I like and I'll keep coming.
