We had been scouring Toronto for something that resembled dessert, that was open late (amazing, we couldn't find many options open downtown on a Saturday night...not knowing the area was a huge disadvantage). My wife found Carole's via Yelp, so we set off to find it. It was fairly close to our hotel on Bloor. Staff was great. The two guys behind the counter were very helpful and provided fantastic service. On a cool evening, they brewed us up a new batch of coffee and kept it coming. The reason we sought out Carole's...the cheesecake, didn't disappoint. We (4 of us) had a different slice of cheesecake. I had the Dulce de Leche, one had the classic NY Cheesecake, while two others had chocolate versions offered. We all were very impressed w/ the dessert. One of my daughters doesn't particularly like cheesecake, but she loved her slice. We're not from Toronto, we probably will never visit Carole's again, but thanks for the great dessert, service and being upon past 8pm on a Saturday night.
