The Stage Door is actually an Iconic place- they have been around forever and after all this time it is a very popular place...and not just among the locals either.
It is a small dive bar with a liquor store attached (In case you didnt consume enough while you were there). Most every seat in the 2 large bar areas are usually filled. If you are lucky enough to find a seat you can be rest assured that you'll be getting a great deal on drinks and a fun atmosphere.
Here's a few details- You must pay in cash for the drinks (Cash only) and you won't get free drinks if you are playing the machines. The drinks prices are low enough and the slot machines actually pay out some money so you won't notice the difference anyway.
I have fun every time i come here, it's nice to come to a place where you can be yourself, not have to worry about a huge bill or a dress code.
By the way.....I hear they have some seriously good Hot Dogs here
