I have had a few broken tablets in the last few years (I have 3 kids) and usually thr damage is a broken screen but everything is OK.
I've gone to a few tablet/phone repair places around town, and they have all been more expensive and many of the tablets did not come back in a working order, or even complete.
So I have been hesitant to to try many repair shops, as frankly I'm tired of getting ripped off.
Then I saw an offer at work for a 15% discount off of repairs at Smart Fix, so I decided to give them a chance.
The inside was very clean and minimalist, made me think of an apple store, the clerk, (Nicole I believe his name was) was very welcoming and interested in my needs. I gave him my favorite tablet, a Nexus 7 (2013) with a broken screen that my daughter destroyed when she got upset with a game and hit it off the corner of the table.
Nico, gave me a quote of $70, (between $100 and $125 at other repair shops) before my discount.
OK price is good, now the big thing, time to wait till the repair is completed, I've had to wait weeks or months in the past.
Nico told me, should have it ready for you later today, tomorrow at the latest, I was flabbergasted and had to have Nico repeat it.
About 3 hours later I get a call on my phone from Nico letting me know it was ready to pick up.
I returned to the store and was greeted once again by Nico, I asked him how he was able to get it done so soon, and he stated one of the reasons was they get there parts locally. I hung out in the store and tested out thr lle tablet for any issues, and I could not find any flaws.
I asked Nico about a warranty on the work, and he notified me that I had 90 days warranty.
So all in all, great service, great prices, and fast repair. I will gladly return and provide this company with my business everytime I need something to repair.
