If you google "what restaurant has the best croque Monsieur in Montreal L'Express repeatedly comes up on the list. I've never been to France and while I hope to make it one day to eat the real deal I usually get my fix at Tartine in SF. However, L'Express was REALLY good. Italian bread, though I admittedly expected French baguette but the meat was good the cheese was so melty and I enjoyed every bite. Here were greens with lemon and olive oil, simple but fresh. Def a good place if you're looking!
