I contacted this office a few weeks ago. I was rear ended on 11/22. I saw a doctor on 11/29. This accident happened 2 days before Thanksgiving as I was getting off the Primm exit at the outlets coming from Cali. I was stopped at a red-light when this women slammed into me. It was so hard my radar detector flew off the windshield. I truly thought my 2010 Genesis was done, but to my surprise she only cracked my bumper. But the other driver didn't even get out of her car. So I went up to the window and saw she was trying to control a dog. She just cracked her window just enough to get her ID and INS card to me. Just crazy...I think she knew the dog caused her to hit the gas pedal. But back to Kutner when I called his office and explained my case, I was told that I had a case. I was told I could come in or someone could come to me, so that night Lisa came to my home. I explained that I had already seen a doctor and had the MRI done but my doctor had been out of town, and was scheduled to see him 2/7. I had been in a lot of pain but I just thought I was just sore from the impact. But I started to get worse and went to see my doc 7 days after the MVA. He ordered the MRI. It was done 12/12. But with the holidays and my doc out of town my first available appt is 2/7. So I will know more about my condition on tomorrow. But the very next day after meeting with Lisa I received a call to see there doctor. And was just floored to see so many people coming out with RX's slips. So when I get back to see someone. gave him the info, and in about 5 min. Dr. Ronsler came in. He started checking my range of motion, I stated that I have limited motion in my back, legs, and neck, and sever pain. The first thing he said he can give me a narcotic, I informed him that I could not tolerant any opiates. And his whole expression changed, he then said okay I can give u a muscle relaxer. I was like "ok". He then said well I can give u a injection, but u would need to be sedated, so I said " I have had those in the past and they just mask the pain for a few weeks or a month, and the pain is back." I also informed him that my MRI report showed I had an annular tear, which I told him that I read were surgery is needed. But he said this would loosen my muscles and ease the pain, I said ok thinking I was getting the injection that day, but then he said he would need to get authorization, I am still thinking from the insurance. So I get the RX, got out front and asked the receptionist would they be calling my ins or the other drivers ins, and she said no they would be calling the attorney. So I said I have a PPO , and it would be faster, but the receptionist said no it would take longer, and that is when I knew they were just legalized "pill pushers," because everybody knows when u have a PPO and Aetna u don't wait. They have a revolving door getting people hooked on pain killers. I was called the next day and told that they could not see me, because my attorney did not approve the $13,000 injection. I was like what damn Cortisone shot is $13,000? She said "oh it is that high because I will need sedation". These attorneys run up a medical bill so they can get half the bill and the doctor gets the other half. But they want u to think u got more than they did. I called the next day and dropped him. Read the fine print. It is not about the money with me I wanted to be out of pain, but I refused to get hooked on painkillers to make that happen.
