Warning - THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL RIPOFF. I honestly should have known better and done my research before being duped out of $150.00. In my defense, l am new to the world of wigs. I purchased my first wig just 3 weeks ago but it started to get all matted and ratty in the back. The only recourse was to cut the matted ends off. After speaking with a friend, I found that the wig I had purchased was probably synthetic. So since this is now my "go to" protective style, I headed back to Nicole Beauty & Wigs in search of a "human hair" wig. I found one that I liked (Jenny by Silhouette) but was a bit perplexed by the prices. I unknowingly purchased this wig that is NON-REFUNDABLE for $162(after taxes)! Still feeling uneasy about the price the next day I took to the internet and found the exact same wig on the manufacturers website (www.silhouettehairs.com) for $50. Www.ebonyonline.com advertised the Jenny wig for $46.95 and www.hairstopandshop.com/shop/pc/Silhouette-Human-Hair-Jenny-Wig-1496.htm# advertises the wig for$40. I don't have to express just how p!$$ed I am about the extreme mark-up at Nicole Beauty & wigs.
This is just one of the reasons I personally stay away from these types of beauty supply stores. The sold me an over-priced wig and was trying to get me to spend an additional $10 on some wig spray. Yes, they have a large selection but wake up people and do your homework on those prices. I personally will not be giving them my business ever again. Crooked vultures is exactly what these people are.
