great, possibly the BEST lemon tart in all of Toronto. the meringue on top was nicely done, not overly sweet. the actual tart was tart with just a hint of sweetnes, and the crust was buttery and crumbly.
i also had an ice-cream sandwich while i was there. had the pumpkin spice ice-cream with a ginger molasses cookie.. will say this, the homemade ice-cream was quite creamy and well-flavoured, and made a nice companion to the ginger molasses cookies. i could have done without the cookie tho, it was a tad overbaked and crunchy for my liking. i prefer my ginger molasses cookies a tad bit on the chewy and soft side.
overall worth a visit. i went on a friday night, they were quite busy, the shop is small and there were a good like 10 ppl waiting in line. the two girls who were working were very helpful.
