Moe's on steroids.
Ordered the veggie burrito and was asked if I wanted chicken, squash or tofu. Not daring enough for the veggie chicken, I chose the squash. The burrito was made in standard fashion with a nice selection of ingredients. Shockingly, the cook in the back had sautéed fresh zucchini which was added as well. Not sure they managed to fold it up, but they did, and then heated it up in the press.
Fresh jalapeños were fresh and adequately spicy.
This was really good. Heating in the press added just a bit of texture to the exterior, which was pleasant.
Every meal is served with homemade tortilla chips and choice of mild, medium or hot salsa. The hot was a little cheesy, and not really hot, but good.
Highly recommended for burritos in the university city area. Would be 5 stars except furnishings were a little beat up and interior overall felt thrown together and unfinished.
Very friendly staff.
