I moved into an apartment just down the street shortly before this location opened. My dog and I walked over and had a great visit with the owner and staff. That was the start to a wonderful relationship with the local pet store....despite Durango attempting to shoplift a bone. Over the past 2 years, I've gotten all of D's food and many of his toys and treats there as well. I recently rescued a *tiny* abandoned kitten who needed to be syringe fed and the staff was, as usual, so welcoming and engaged in me and my critters. There isn't as large a selection compared to a Petsmart or Petco, but they also only carry higher quality brands which is fine by me. Plus, I'd rather support a smaller shop than a big company anyway.
