So far, so slow. The place isn't busy yet it took forever just for someone to ask us if we wanted drinks. And then another eternity for them to arrive. I'm dreading waiting for the meal. Naps. Take naps while waiting for food. It helps.
Ok, enough about the slow service and on to the food.
Yep, ridiculously sized portions. The meatloaf special (Wednesdays) was, weird. I don't think I ever want to know what was in it, but, oddly enough, the more I ate, the better it was. Dad had the bacon/avocado burger. He said it was good and ate the whole thing. But he never was one for leaving food on his plate. Never made it to desert as everyone was stuffed from the main course.
I wouldn't search this place out, but of people were determined to go and I 1. had a lot of time and 2. was really hungry I would join them.
