Legacy Village has been on the decline for some time, and it's not surprising to see why so many businesses have closed over the years:
Legacy Village has a terrible layout. Most outdoor shopping centers are arranged in circular arrangement or with criss-crossing shop-lined streets, with its parking tucked away on the outskirts. Legacy Village, on the other hand, does not have an arrangement that is conducive to walking. Most of the shops and restaurants are arranged in a semi-circle in a main plaza area. A few other shops and restaurants (like Norstrom Rack, Cheesecake Factory, Giant Eagle, and Claddagh, etc.) are secluded on the outskirts, past parking lots, and the main streets of the plaza. They are practically inaccessible by foot since there are no designated sidewalks leading to them, and you would have navigate your way through the cars.
Legacy Villages' offerings are nothing special, unless you want to shop for home goods. There are higher-end chain restaurants (which in my opinion aren't worth a visit) and clothing stores that can be found in any shopping mall, and many smaller boutiques that open up quickly close after a few months. Legacy Village does have a Crate and Barrel, Arhaus, Restoration Hardware, and Le Creuset which are great if you need to revamp your furniture or kitchen!
Conclusion: Poorly designed and not worth a visit unless you are shopping for home goods.
