Once again, I find myself stricken with De Forest grocery shopping envy. Miller's and Sons has it all over De Fo's crappy Pick 'N' Save (which has become "Pick Your [insert body part]" in the local lexicon). The produce is actually FRESH. The store isn't huge like the big boxes, and the staff are friendly and helpful. How refreshing to have my groceries carried out to my car for me--they didn't even ask! This store has a wonderful, small town community feel. Unfortunately, I don't get to Mt. Horeb very often. Oh well. Maybe someday they'll open an M & S's in De Fo.
