A week ago (I think tues/wed) I decided to get contact lenses for the first time and this particular Hakim location is very close to where I live so I did a walk in. Mario appeared to be friendly and accommodating. We tried on a pair of lenses and they work well, so I put an order in. This is where things when to s#%t. He promised me that I would get my order by friday. I told him it is important for me to get them before Wednesday of next week.. (May 3rd) as I am leaving town for a bit and I really need the contact lenses. Basically, if they don't arrive before I leave, I wouldn't even purchase them. He assured me that they will be here the friday before. Surely enough, as all the reviewers had pointed out... they didn't arrive. Nor monday when I walked in again to speak with Mario. He promised again, that they will be here tuesday at 10am. In the mean time, he gave me three pairs of contacts. So Tuesday right before store closed, I walked in again.. of course they weren't here. Why did I even bother really.. The girl working there told me that there is no way of contacting Mario since he is off work.. which is ridiculous. However she did offer me a refund. Moral of the story, don't go, especially if you have to make a trip to go.. they don't call to followup your order; their promise for delivery date is not trustworthy; and they don't care that their poor service had really inconvenienced their customer. DON'T GO
