By far one of my favorite places .... IF THEY PREPARE THE FOOD as per the menu desciptions. This seems to be my biggest problem with this wonderful little find - the cooks in the back ad lib at will.
Today's adventure was a chef salad with literally two chopped onions inside. I don't like onions and didn't think to order it no ONIONS because, well, after the 20 or 30 times I have had it in the past, it never had onions. So, I traded it with the new strawberry salad and added (and paid for, mind you) grilled chicken... No chicken.. but the salad is wonderful.
The owner always makes it right and I adore the attention he gives to my orders when I call..... but the message is rarely sent to the kitchen. Oh well, of course I'll keep trying.
