Lappert's, located on the second floor of the California Hotel and Casino, was a great find, once we actually found it. It's not too large, and there's only a few stools inside if you want to sit and eat. We were well satisfied not only with the service but especially of the flavors, with a clear Hawaiian influence. Hey, anyplace that features ice creams with macadamia nuts is already on the right track for me and my friends. The scoops are quite large as well. This is your best option for ice cream within a couple of blocks of Fremont Street.
