I had never heard of this place until I went yesterday with a group of 7 other friends. We ended up here because chatime, gong cha and coco were all full and one of our friends had recommended it. It's just a bit further down on yonge from chatime on the west side. The logo is 3 circles that form an 80 (presumably since palgong means 80 in korean) The store itself is really small and probably could only fit 15 people. But definitely allows for a much quieter and peaceful space away from the craziness of yonge and finch and with less people. The first thing I noticed about the menu was it's super cheap prices. They start at 2.99 and work their way up from there. They have less of a variety than gong cha and it felt like a lot of their choices are basic but there's a couple things different about the place. Topping: they allow you to top off your bubble tea with 3 toppings (in addition to tapioca and all those inside the tea). You can get foam, chocolate foam, or cheese. Probably won't be trying the cheese unless I'm super adventurous but I want to come back and try the chocolate foam. Sweetness and flavour: given that it was my first time, I went with the iced milk tea. It made me realize how sweet and milky other bubble teas are. I loved this bubble tea because the tea flavour was more present and it wasn't too sweet at all. In fact I think their "regular" sweetness is actually the equivalent of chatimes "half sweet" or even less sweet than that. So if you like sweet, ask for more sweet. Other recommendation: get the grapefruit ade.. it's like eating a grapefruit (pulp and all) but in a drink form that's also been carbonated. Pretty amazing
