I first saw this show in Austin when they were touring a few years ago and It made such an impression on me that when I saw they would be in Vegas, I knew I had to go. My husband and I moved to Vegas for the comedy and Puppet Up is exactly the level of hilarity that we were looking for.
The other reviewers did a good job explaining the show, so I won't repeat that. Since most of the show is unscripted and is based on audience suggestions, each show is different. Sure, since it is uncensored, there are a lot of sexually themed suggestions from the audience, but that's a lot of the attraction. It makes the show more fun.
I have seen this show over 10 times so far and am planning to see it a bunch more. The host, Patrick Bristow, is careful to ask for audience suggestions that "challenge" his cast. If something has been suggested often in previous shows, he will ask for a different suggestion. I have seen the show enough to know that this helps keep the puppeteer/improvisors on their toes. Patrick is not just asking for a different suggestion to coddle his performers, it really makes the show better.
The production budget for this show is higher than the typical improv show and it is money well spent.
I suggest that you park at the Palazzo instead of the Venetian since the Palazzo is easier/quicker to access and exit.
I highly recommend this show to anyone who loves to laugh and see professionals working at the highest level of their craft. GO SEE THIS SHOW!!!
