I have never been to the "real" lego land however, this place was a ton of fun for the kids (and the adults quite frankly). The movie was incredible - we did it towards the end of the visit which was actually a good thing because the kids were getting tired so sitting for a bit was nice. The rides are fun for the young ones -- probably a bit boring for the older kids. The favorite spot for the dads was the area where you can build your own lego car and race others on a track nearby. Overall, a good time and a great place to bring the kids on a hot day.
