After being a customer of Jack's for over 40 yrs i am moving on to another Local State Farm agent. I asked questions aboutmy roadside assistance(I was broken down at my residence) and basically what his office staff said t me is dont bother us with your questions or concerns call the number on the back of your card. I have roadside coverage and come to find out they wanted to cut me off after an 11 mile tow and wouldnt pay for 5 more miles where i do all my servicing. Anyway i am in the process of calling the # and his receptionist calls me to ask if i am having any problems or questions, at which point i told her NO i am currently ont he phone will the # calling for a tow, she hangs up and low an behold Jack himself calls me 2 minutes later and basically is Yelling at me over the phone "WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG"? is what he yelled and i told him i jost got home and was in the process now. That is no way to treat a long time customer who has paid tens of thousands of $ over the yrs to keep insurance coverage thru him. And another thing State Farm DOES write out checks if you decided to Call your own tow and have coverage, alld you do is get the bill for the tow and take it in and they write you a check to reimburst you. Jack went as so far to tell them they dont do that anymore which is a total lie because have checked wth other State Farm Agents(esp the one i am switching to) says you can do either way Thru the # ont he back of your ins card of pay it yourself and bring the bill in and they will reimburst you. Needless to say its time to HIT THE ROAD JACK!!!!!
