Went into this salon for the first time today. I really can't think of anything positive to say about my experience other than they were able to accommodate a pedicure right away and the technician seemed sweet. I watched the person in the chair next to me leave and the technician spray the dirty bowl with water - no sanitizer. I thought perhaps they sanitize in front of customers when someone sits again. Nope. Someone else sat in the same chair while I was there and no sanitization took place. Of course, it made me wonder about the sanitization of the bowl my feet were in. The floor in front of the pedi bowls was also dirty. The technician who did my pedicure spent the 30 minutes I was there talking with another technician, who had pulled up a stool beside her. When the technician took out the pumice stone, I almost gagged. It was disgunstingly gross. It had so much skin embedded in it that you could almost not see the green color of the pumice. I told her she could not use it on me. She grabbed one from another station, which was no better. I told her to skip that part of the pedicure. As is to be expected from these 'nail mills', there was no leg massage - only the rubbing of cheap lotion on my legs that got so monotonous I finally asked her to stop. To top off an already unpleasant experience, there was a customer in the salon who didn't shut up the entire time I was there. Her voice was loud, too, as she wasn't talking with her technician, but rather the technician at a station behind her. Salon owner: this is supposed to be a relaxing experience for customers. Why do you let this happen? I will never be back to this salon, mainly because of the unsanitary conditions and dirty floor, but also because of the talking and louder-than-necessary rock music, which did not create a relaxing experience.
