As many reviewers have said, we've driven past Letty's a number of times before we actually stopped in. Now, I'm kicking myself for living in Charlotte for three years and not been to Letty's until recently. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we came back for brunch the next day. A big component of how much we enjoyed Letty's is the staff. Our waitress, Verna, was very entertaining and welcoming. She gave us some recommendations and some story time as well! When we told her it was our first visit, she insisted that the proprietor, Letty herself, come to meet us. Letty was just about as friendly as they come - she wanted to know all about us and was happy to tell us about the place and even some local history. She also gave us a hard time for not considering dessert....so we ended up with coconut pie, which was fantastic. We've been back a few times since. The honey pecan chicken is up there with some of the best fried chicken I've had. Check it out!
