First, Earnhardt Kia failed me (that's a totally different story), then the bus drivers went on strike. Come Lyft to the rescue! Then, why 4 stars? Because, the first two times I called for a driver, the driver cancelled. The first was only 2 miles away. The moment I complained about it on my Twitter (what else do you do when it's 5:30 in the morning and you're cold, frustrated, and hoping the second driver will show up, I was given a $5 credit. Except for those two times, Lyft has been wonderful. The drivers are always friendly and when you don't have a vehicle, it does feel nice to have almost front door service that won't put you in the red. Last week, my children and I called for a larger vehicle and went out to the store. It was much less than a bus ride for all of us and much more enjoyable. Especially when we were offered bottled water. It started because of the bus strike, but I am sure to use this service often.
