Green grotto gets a lot of flak but if you're just looking for a place to get some work done for an extended period of time of just simply for a small social, then this place fits the bill. Let's be honest, no one is coming here because they love the drinks and food here; it's primarily for the space instead and this one is definitely less busy than the other green grottos. We came on a lazy Monday afternoon and the place was relatively quiet with plenty of tables still to choose from. We went for the passionfruit green tea drink with less sugar and less ice and also a limenade with aiyu jelly (which I forgot to specify the sugar and ice level and regret doing so). The drinks were alright, the passionfruit drink was refreshing while the limenade was really packed a punch with the lime. It was also pretty sweet and most of their drinks are so go for the reduced sugar! Oddly enough they gave out the drinks in the takeout cups instead of the glasses (not sure if this applies to all locations or this one, or if this is a new initiative), and the popcorn was given out later - which is still buttery and salty. We managed to stay there for nearly four hours and used the plugs on the floor of the place. The drinks are somewhat pricey but you're paying to use the space here!
