This place is improving for sure. When I did the review 2 years ago-I gave them 1 star.
Positives-
Because of the changes, much of the homeless and problematic patrons have left. You still see a few but nothing like before
The employees for the most part are much nicer than they used to be
Seigels has improved in the food quality
You can't get comped a drink unless you're playing .20 cents or more. That is reasonable and will help filter out the people coming to take advantage.
Negatives
They need to replace that carpet and get rid of that smell. It's some sort of air freshener or carpet cleaner-I'm not sure. It's not as bad as it used to be but still kind of stinky and can be bothersome for people with allergies.
The waitress outfits need to change. They are the ugliest outfits I've ever seen. Go for something vintage looking or classy.
When I go to both bars and get comped martinis and go to one of them the next day-I am refused because I was told the drink was over 7.00 and they couldn't do it. Make your drinks smaller then and keep them under 7.00-or streamline what should and should not be comped. When I put 500.00 in a machine and refused to be comped a drink I was comped for the night before-that doesn't make me too happy.
They took away the jackpot tickets to get free things. I'm kind of in the middle about this one.
They took away 5x points. That's not making me happy.
Keep up the improvements-you're going in the right direction.
