Giant Donuts?!? Well, maybe not giant... but very large ones.
These lovely folks have a pop up shop at the Davidson Farmers Market from time to time. The first time I tried... the rain cancelled them but I finally got to them a couple weekends later.
For the most part, these donuts are amazing. Large, a little dense and flavored oh so well. The different flavors they have run from easy go-tos like Classic Glazed & Vanilla Bean to more bold ones like Gorgonzola Brown Butter Walnut with Honey Drizzle & Strawberry Maple Bacon. Vanilla Bean and Strawberry Maple Bacon being my favorite ones.
The only thing that I don't enjoy about these is how greasy the toppings can. I am sure it has something to do with the process or recipe to ensure they taste amazing, but it is just a little turn off for me. Outside of that, I really have not complaints. This isn't the place I would drive 45 minutes to attend their physical location... but if I were in the area, I might make a point to stop by and test out new seasonal flavors.
