Lovely! I don't think I have ever ridden in a checker cab before- but they will be my go to now. Today, my daughter and I were running late for the bus and missed it by just a few seconds. A cab was just coming out from the car wash and saw, and offered us a ride on his way home. It turned out where he was going was across the street from our home, so we graciously accepted. He was lovely, and talked to my daughter and myself. When we got out, he refused a tip and said he just wanted to help. His cab smelled lovely (like when you test drive high end cars), he was polite and that was very unexpected. Thank you for rescuing us on this chilly day!
