I am beyond disappointed with my latest purchase from VW of South Charlotte. After being hit head on twice this year, I have purchased 2 cars from VW of South Charlotte. The first experience was great. I loved the car and was crushed when it was totaled upon being hit by a drunk driver. The circumstances around subsequent car purchase from VW of South Charlotte still makes me sick to my stomach and I wish I had taken my business elsewhere. Lesson learned. - I was promised that I would be given the same price for the very same car I had before. They increased the price. - I was told that I would be financed through VW Credit as before. My purchase paperwork says VW Credit. They ran my financing through PNC without my permission. - The brand new car had a leaking sun roof. They did fix that, but there was water damage at the time of sale that they should have caught. The sunroof now clicks as it closes. - The brand new car was asking for an oil change at 2,000 miles. - I have already had to replace the battery on my key and I haven't had the car more than 2 months. I was in a situation where I had been without a car for 2-3 months and needed reliable transportation for work. They took advantage and I could not in good faith recommend this dealership. Unbelievable.
