I have been a good paying customer for 6 years and have never paid my monthly installment for the home warranty policy insurance late. I just called them to set up appointment for my ac which is intermittently working.I came home from work to a 90 degree house...not fun! The representative who sounded very young and inexperienced looked up my account and said that I had been cancelled 2 months ago.he said we sent you a notice in the mail 3 months ago.(.which I never got) .I was like well that's strange I never authorized that. So I wanted to talk to a manager they informed me that they have all gone home and can not be contacted till monday. Wow can you believe this.I've paid into this service for 6 years and have had one claim this last December for a hot water heater and now magically they cancelled me ...interestingly 3 months after my first over $100 claim... Also they came out 4 times last summer on my ac and never did find the problem finally the last service guy that came out said you might need more insulation in your attic to help keep your house cold.Maybe that is true .but it took 2 1/2 days of me taking off work and 4 trips by three different sub contracted companies to figure that out! Bottom line is this is a scam. They happily debit your account each month for $39 but once they have to start paying out for real claims you are dropped.That's not insurance that's fraud! I will be paying out of pocket to have my a.c. unit serviced and I will tell everyone I can to steer clear of this company.If I could give them less than one star I would.By the way I own a serviced based company ...SO I HAVE MADE A LIVING KNOWING WHAT GOOD SERVICE IS AND IS NOT....this place is everything you don't want!
