Hired Cordell&Cordell to review a prenuptial document. I understand the idea of a retainer, but not that they would take it ALL and charge accordingly. C&C billed my credit card $4900.00 and only weeks later mailed a reimbursement check..... leaving total charges for the review at $2,100. Someone tell me how $2100 to review a document provided to them is right. $1000 MAYBE. $250 doc fees to PDF a stamped document provided to them? I signed off waivers to C&C when I did not take their advice, so they are not on the hook for anything....just charging celebrity prices. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK or HIRE A REAL CELEBRITY LAWYER.
