Ben Thanh Vietnamese kinda smelled a little like butt... and a little like a fish tank... but the food was on point. We hit up the highly acclaimed Vietnamese restaurant just south of Charlotte's hip neighborhood Plaza Midwood and despite absolutely loving our food we kinda wished we had got Chinese instead. When we got to Ben Thanh we were greeted at the front door by a very polite hostess (and the smell of fish tank). We got some Gia Gia spring rolls, a curry dish, and something with noodles (I cant remember the names for the life of me). Nothing really stood out to us as memorable but nothing was bad either. Give them a shot for yourself and see what you think.
