Staying at the hotel in conjunction with a wedding, I experienced a friendly staff, beautiful grounds, a good breakfast buffet, a clean pool, but guest rooms which were past due, a much-needed updating. I was not alone. I heard other guests remark about the poor conditions of their room.
My story included a stained shower with an inoperable drain plug. I found the plug laying on the side of the tub. The toilet ran constantly and its lid came off completely when lifted. The carpet was frayed, dirty, and had a large stain in the entryway.
Good staff, good food, good facilities, but abandoned guest rooms; go figure.
