LOVED that I didn't pay the bill for this hotel. So as far as writing you get what you pay for, I wouldn't know. I know this isn't a very new hotel, but its also not the oldest. I don't know if all the rooms are like this, but our bathroom had peeling wallpaper, and you could clearly tell that there was water damage in the shower. The bright gold fixtures in the bathroom were so dated, it was irritating to see. The showerhead had so much calcification on it that not much water came out to wash my hair. The beds were obviously already used a lot, however they were comfy enough. Pillows were very big and fluffy, nice for leaning on, but literally a pain in the neck to sleep on. I had to take two Tylenol and four ibuprofen for a week after leaving Vegas. The casino wasn't too bad, I didn't mind it at all. We actually enjoyed the Go Go Girls dancing on a short runway. I even appreciated the non-smoking FLOORS. Wish all of Vegas could be non-smoking indoors like California. A girl/mother can wish. Overall, not too bad of a hotel, especially if all you're gonna do is sleep and go out all day.
