Approximately two years ago I was told about Curls Gone Wild. What held me back was the 35 minute drive from my house and cost; however, my hair was looking really sad and dead and I figured I needed help ASAP. I requested my appointment online, and got approval soon after. My stylist today was Lea Cake, and all I have to say is she did a PHENOMENAL job.
Getting haircuts has always been a pain point for me. The thought of a haircut gave me anxiety, and often times I left extremely disappointed, but at least happy my mother finally will shut up about my dead ends. Upon meeting Lea, I was at ease almost immediately. I didn't have a horrible gut feeling like I usually do.
I did the discover your curls and define your shape which came with a course on how to wash and style your curls, then a dry cut. When I was waiting for my hair to dry, Lea made sure I was still being educated and gave me the Curly Girl book to read which was VERY informative.
When I saw the finished product I was almost brought to tears! My hair looks healthy, bouncy and my curls were to their fullest potential. I couldn't be happier on what Lea showed me and the cut she did. I am finally happy to say that after 25 years of being a curly girl, I have a salon that I am proud of and excited to go get my hair cut at!! Thanks again Curls Gone Wild and Lea!!!
