I am so angry. I called in advance and inquired about the prices for a 1099. I was told it would be approximately $150, and it depended on what I owned. Since I own absolutely nothing I had my taxes done by Fun. Yes, that is his name Fun. He spent about 30 minutes doing my taxes and then told me it was $500 minus my $40 first-time client coupon/ discount. I was shocked. I never paid that much money for a 1099 even when I owned two cars a house and 5 Acres of property and work from home. When I told him it was too much money and I was shocked that he charged me that much, he handed me my stuff and basically told me to leave. I will never ever go to H&R Block.
