I live in the neighbourhood and went to check out this place. I felt a little uncomfortable when I noticed the woman pulling files out of a tub. Aren't those supposed to be new every time? If clippers etc are coming out of a tub they can't be sanitized. I didn't say anything. I wondered what the point was as I did not hear any English aside from 'what colour' and 'you pay cash'. See the attached picture- this is what my leg looked like just a few weeks after my pedicure. See this article http://archderm.jamanetwork.com/article.aspx?articleid=479308. I am now awaiting a biopsy. This is exactly what Yelp is for. I only wish I had been warned and knew more about the hazards of unsanitary conditions. Oh and since I didn't know - never shave your legs before a pedicure! That is how the bacteria from the tubs gets in.
