I normally have a pretty okay experience here, but as of late it's been less than okay. I like coming here because of the convenience of the mobile ordering. I like having my coffee ready when I drive up. It's pretty cool....(I make my teenager get out and get my coffee, it's like a valet service!!!) I also like I can add money to their mobile app....sooo much to like, but even more that breaks my heart. There was a time not too long ago they didn't have something in stock to make my order so when I got there, I had to choose something else. I would think you'd either give me a little something something for the inconvenience. There had been another time or two when I ordered something and it was trivial like the flavoring, I just let it go. I actually probably complained about it for several days to my family, but I let it go sooner or later. Well, several coffee orders later, they screwed up my drink again, and again this is a mobile order. The girl that I imagine made it because she kept saying, I thought it was supposed to be iced. What gets me is there wasn't a sorry we screwed up. (I would have said, I am sorry, I'm new here.) There wasn't a let me fix it right now. It was as though I inconvenience them for the mistake they made because I wanted them to fix it. Again, I thought (because I think what would I do in that situation....a fault I possess according to my husband) they would let me keep the drink they screwed up on (they iced it instead of making it hot...I'm not a lover of the iced coffee) AND make me the corrected drink, or how about a free coffee for next time...perhaps a pastry (which I couldn't eat because I gave up sugar..for now). Nope and nope. I waited for about 5 minutes for them to fix it and they just said "here" . I bet you anything, they didn't give me my four shots of espresso...because I really do need four shots of espresso, I homeschool two teenage boys. I know-I know...why am I even coming here to Overpriced Coffeeland? I am asking myself that very same question. I will not be back. Probably won't be back to Starbucks again which is heartbreaking because I am from Seattle, dare I mention that? I hope Charlotte speeds up and starts popping up more local coffee shops.
