I went to Pinky's for the first time to get a pedicure and a manicure. I usually do not speak up, but I am tired of accepting an inferior job and always giving a 20% tip. She started wtih not removing all my polish, then she barely trimmed the cuticles on my toes and left some of my nails too long (which she had to trim after she polished). On to the manicure, one of the worst manicures ever. I had to ask her to "trim" the cuticles more, she left my nails uneven and left ridges in my nails, along with a terrible "clear" polish job. They are definitely off my list of salons. In spite of the terrible job, I left a 10% tip which should have really been nothing. I think us Americans have become complacent on the services we receive. My resolution, speak up and refuse to patronize bad service.
