OMG! This was so not what I expected.
Honestly, I thought that it was going to be awful. I mean, how could so many friends and reviews be so wrong. But, I suppose the stars aligned that night. MGM had this baby at a discounted rate and having seen all the Cirque shows on the Strip (including the latest awful installations like Elvis and the Beatles), I bought in.
Shocking to say, the emo was actually really entertaining. So, perhaps, the trick is to have really low expectations, like a bad blind date 1/10. And, when they come to your door and show up as a 5/10, you'll have a really good time with this average looking dude.
