Dr. Neville Campbell was a much different person when I was treating with him at Nevada Pain. When he opened his own practice, I followed despite the office being on the other side of town. For the first six months or so, care was consistent with what I was accustomed to. Things started to deteriorate as the office got larger and he seemed to be more interested in the MBA he had earned than being a physician. There were failure to communicate issues, failure to follow up with medical care, to send FMLA documents in to my workplace. The office provided nothing but excuses and because the office seemed more concerned with a Yelp review, than patient care, I left one. My FMLA paperwork continued to sit idle while my workplace penalized me for not sending it in. As a result, I wrote another less than flattering review. On my next visit to the office, Dr. Campbell came in to the treatment room and questioned why I didn't contact him as I had his private email. I told him that he had become approachable. We discussed the issues and he asked if I would contact him if there were future issues, there were, and I did. Dr. Campbell would send an email to staff to follow up and nothing happened. Prescriptions would be sent in, a pre auth would be required and when emailed, his response was, "This is a hassle man" It was such a hassle for him that I ended up having another physician take care of it after waiting more than 2 weeks. I was then given a script in January but the pharmacy could not fill it because per Nevada Law, scripts must have a diagnosis code. Even after they were aware that this issue existed with Walgreens, they made no attempt to resolve the issue or follow up with a phone call. I called the office and was promised by staff that it would be immediately taken care of, it wasn't. On Feb 5, I expressed my disappointment and stated that the office wasn't meeting my expectations. Dr. Campbell assured me that the scripts would be called in, then suggested that I find another provider since my expectations weren't being met. Is it wrong to expect that prescription will be issued correctly and able to be picked up in a timely manner. Is it wrong to expect staff to follow up when they say they will. Is it wrong to expect that Dr Campbell, who's name is on the door, follows up when he says he will? 10 days later, I asked him again for the resolution and he promised to resolve it on Monday the 20th. Still nothing, so so wrote a strongly worded email to him regarding my now being out if meds, unable to work because of the pain, and going through withdrawals. Crickets... I can no longer recommend Dr Campbell or the Center for Wellness and Pain. They advertise award winning and compassionate providers but the attitude is if you are not getting procedures which they are very pushy with, it's a 5 minute office visit and a piss in a cup. It is a real disappointment because that is not the Dr that he was. At least he got the Yelp review that he so much desired.
