New hotel and conference center in downtown Kent. Quite a revival, with local developer, city, and Kent State working on new housing, office, retail, and a new hotel and conference center. Great design, and a new restaurant, Zenas, that is great. It is in the lobby area, so doesn't seem that separate , but the food is great, and they will figure out a way to make it more intimate. Room rates around $110, so not bad for the location and other options (none)!!
