One of the gems in Charlotte to grab a great burger, basket of fries, fried pickles, footlong hot dogs or one of their plated homestyle specials. Unfortunately, it's hard for me to veer away from ordering my "usual" block burger, but my hubby loves the fried chicken or meatloaf special. My hubby and I usually come here late night to grab a bite to eat and we haven't been disappointed. They have an outside patio in front which is nice, but if you don't care for cigarette smoke, you might want to dine inside. It's a common hangout spot for the locals with a small bar and booth seating. They serve local beers here as well and the eclectic decor and music contribute to the good vibes here.
They close earlier during the weekdays as they're open well after midnight on the weekends. The parking can be a bit of a hassle as it's not plentiful, but you can usually manage to locate a space or two. The burgers are my favorite here and you can't go wrong with them!
