I went to this gym as part of Classpass(.com). At the beginning of the class the instructor asked me when was the last time I had worked out ("This morning" ... told him I was a former triathlete who let herself go and was getting fit again). The class description was "One Hour of butt kicking, sweat dripping cardio and weights. Play games using jump ropes, kettlebells and dumbells - you name it, they have it! Go in for the best and most fun hour of your week!" He ended up doing about 20 minutes of slow weights and 20 minutes of stretching. Around the 45 minute mark he asked whether the class was 45 minutes. I wasn't about to ask for 15 more minutes of that. At the end he said he had chosen to change the class based on his best judgment and when I asked why he said because he had someone who was new and someone who was sore (just two of us in the class). I mentioned I wasn't new and he said he didn't know that I said that he had asked me at the beginning of the class and I had told him and he said yeah. And that was it. He kept looking at his cell phone in-between most exercises. I drove for almost an hour to take that class, I expect to take that class. An instructor should never change the class (barring unforeseen circumstances) without the agreement of the class.
Classpass shows only two trainers teaching classes and both of them have given My House Fitness a five star review on Facebook. I don't think employees should be giving their place of employment ratings on their employer's official Facebook page.
Worst class I've ever taken (out of over a thousand by now) in my life.
