Brought the boys here for a afternoon of entertainment and ended up watching the boys get yelled at for "clapping" the excess chalk (which is a habit ya know) and no they weren't playing and trying to be funny and yet the owner watched a girl do it 3 times almost next to him and he never said anything to her. Hmmmm I would recommend taking the drive to AZ rock gym in Scottsdale . It is way more friendly and family oriented not so cliquey like it is here. They had fun though and spent some energy.
Update: still here watching people land from jumping off the wall inappropriately - NOT the way they drilled it in in the beginning of our visit.
Not nearly enough seating for parents watching their kids without being pushed out of the way by people who are clearly here alllll the time. Sorry I invaded your space bro.
