My toddler was recently in here for tympanostomy tubes. Our amazing ENT doctor uses Gateway Surgical center for his procedures. We were in there super early in the morning and the nurses at Gateway were very caring and nurturing to my son. They explained everything thoroughly and even gave him a little teddy bear to keep him calm. After the quick surgery and he was taken to the recovery room- I walked around the corner after speaking to the ENT doctor about the procedure- and my son was crying from pain and a nurse was holding him rocking him to help him feel better. This was the best thing I have ever seen and I am so appreciative of her doing this until I got back there to hold him. I am glad he wasn't just laying there crying and that someone took time out of their busy schedule to hold him. If any other outpatient procedure is needed for me and/or my family- we will always schedule schedule here at Gateway!
