Wow, I had only read the hotels.com reviews before booking a room here, but these reviews are rough. I can't say I had any of the totally terrible experiences depicted here, but this room cost about $50 / night, and the cost seems to have fit the experience. Yes, it's kind of in a sketchy area and the lobby isn't the nicest. It took the airport shuttle about 25 minutes to come pick me up -- if I had known it would be that long, I would have just called an Uber. On top of that, I had to wait a while to check in because it seemed that the desk clerk and the manager were trying to figure out why there was less money in the drawer than there should have been... I didn't experience any undue noises and the room was clean. Granted, I was only there about 6 hours, and didn't use the tub or shower, so I can't speak to those in great detail. The room is definitely small, and the set up is odd. The TV is about 7 feet in the air in the corner of the room over a coat closet. Really strange. If this is the cheapest room available (by a bit), I'd stay here again. If there were others of comparable price, I'd try something else.
